Reflexology

Reflexology is a form of natural and holistic therapy based on the discovery that there are points on the feet and hands which correspond to organs, systems and structures within the entire body. This corresponding relationship is called a 'reflex'. A reflex is when stimulation at one point brings about a response in another point or area, releasing congestion or tension.

Reflexology induces a deep state of relaxation, it has been estimated that 75% of disease is stress related, relaxation is a major contribution to the return of health. As the treatments continue over time this state of relaxation becomes deeper and established.

The Treatment

During a Reflexology treatment precise pressure techniques stimulate points on the feet or hands, imbalances in the tissues, organs and systems of the body can be detected and effectively treated to restore balance and well-being.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy, it treats the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms.
